If I try more than three times, Schwab locks me out and I have to reset the password on their site. In Quicken for Mac 2015, I clicked on Update Passwords (in the error box) and entered the same password, but it says the password cannot be changed.
I successfully updated my password on Schwab. The name-change part on Apple's site, but I'm afraid you'll have to do. One of those steps offers to transfer your data from another Mac, a Time.
